Restored to Joy

According to Romans 14.17, a full 1/3 of the Kingdom of God reflects Joy, one of the major character elements of the Father’s nature.  Yet, so much of the Church is rendered impotent because of theology that sees God as one who is quick to dole out punishment rather than quick to save; who holds our sin in the back of His mind rather than His forgiveness in Christ on the forefront of His mind.  Surprisingly, one of the greatest revelations of joy is found in the Old Testament.  As the people came to a right understanding of the nature of the Father, joy was unstoppably restored, painting a prophetic picture of our birthright as sons and daughters of the Kingdom of God!

Reversing Fear - Video

The enemy tries to sow Fear into the Church for many different reasons. Looking at the scenario with Gideon from Judges 6, we see how Fear comes to distract us from our calling and render us ineffective in our individual assignments. Through it all, the Lord Himself promises to be with us to empower us in our call and assignments with His grace. What remains is the non-negotiable requirement that the Father receives all the glory.
