Romania
Romania was once known as the breadbasket of Europe. However, the country stagnated under
a Communist dictatorship for decades, leaving Romania poor and in great material need. When
Communism crumbled in 1989, people began looking for their answers elsewhere, and there exists a
great hunger for the truth of the gospel.In the villages throughout the countryside, we have assisted local churches in reaching their community,
as well as on the streets of Romania’s second largest city, Timisoara. In Timirsoara our outreaches have
seen hundreds of orphans, many of whom were addicted to various inhalants and desperate for a way
out, that have responded to the love and acceptance of Christ!
